It's the week of the most important date in the golfing calendar - The Open is here again! This year it's happening at the Royal Birkdale Golf Course in Southport, England but what if you want to play golf in Milton Keynes? If you've been watching The Open and got the golfing bug then this is the blog for you!
Milton Keynes is home to a wide variety of courses, there are about 7 within 10-15 minutes drive and if you want to go a little further you can add in Bedford which has 4 courses itself!
Without any doubt, Woburn Golf Club has to be the highlight. Part of the Woburn Estate, it is home to three championship courses, having played host to many a well-known tournament - most notably, it has played host to The Masters and Senior Masters as part of the European Tour.
Closer into Milton Keynes you have Abbey Hill Golf Centre - it's very central to Milton Keynes and is a fantastic course, but on top of this, it also has great practice facilities and if you are looking for something for the whole family then it's also home to an incredible Adventure Golf Course.
If you're thinking of bringing your golf clubs with you when staying in one of our serviced apartments then great! Come and enjoy a round during your stay and they'll be plenty of space to store your clubs - around double compared with a hotel room!
