Relax in Milton Keynes

February 12th, 2017

It’s a funny time of year, the weather is always a bit cold (and often wet), but it’s not quite holiday season either, so perhaps you’re thinking of a short break or getaway, a weekend of relaxation – but what can you actually do to relax in Milton Keynes?

Well, luckily for you, we’ve got some great ideas!

Walking

Walking, although a form of exercise, can be one of the most relaxing things you can do, Milton Keynes has loads of attractive walks, from

parks,

to lakes and even the inner city. Whether you want to walk for half a day, a full day or just an hour, there are plenty of options for you. Within Milton Keynes, the Parks Trust have some fantastic walking which you can find here. Outside of Milton Keynes, just a short drive away you have Olney and Emberton, both are awesome places to walk!

Spa

What could be more relaxing than a spa break? Whilst your staying in our luxurious accommodation in Milton Keynes then why not get yourself a luxurious spa day too? Bannatyne’s, just over the road from many of our serviced apartments offer some fabulous spa days, and access is cheaper than you think!

A glass of wine

Now, of course we don’t encourage drinking alcohol of course, however if having a glass of wine is something that you like to do to relax then this is what we suggest. First and foremost, buying a bottle and taking it back to your accommodation would be perfect, our serviced apartments are a place to relax! Secondly, if you want to get out then there are a good few bars to enjoy a glass. Missoula, just around the corner from our office and many of the apartments always has a great atmosphere, both Banana Tree and Turtle Bay also are great places for a chilled glass of Sauvignon Blanc and also offer some great cocktail deals.
