There are some great pubs around in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas, but here are the best pubs in Milton Keynes for food (in our opinion).
Milton Keynes is often considered a very modern city and lack of pubs however, you could not be further from the truth – this was also seen at the Food and Drink awards which happened earlier this year (2015).
A short drive or taxi ride away and you’ll find even more great pubs – adding to the attraction of staying in Milton Keynes.
The Swan – Woburn Sands
The Swan in Woburn Sands is a great surefire choice for both eating and drinking. Located on the high street it’s very easy to find and the village has lots of free parking available.
On the menu you can find some pubs classics as well as some more modern twists, including a selection of flatbreads and things such as a ‘Lobster brioche roll’.
The decor in this pub is very stylish and suits the customer all year round.

The Swan Revived – Newport Pagnell
This is a great choice for that real pub feel! It’s a clever place with lots of different rooms which makes a big place seem very cosy.
The food is also very good – from a very nice scampi and chips at lunch to a well-cooked steak in the evening with a glass of wine or beer (or soft drink).
It’s located just outside Milton Keynes, about 10 minutes away in the village of Newport Pagnell.

It’s easy to list of a lot of the pubs we like – but why not check out the list of best pubs on from the local food and leisure awards – you can find them here.
Don’t forget – if you’ve had a drink (responsibly) make sure you don’t drive back to your serviced apartment and get a taxi!
